HELLO & WELCOME!
I am Jesse Klein, the gal behind J.Klein Photos, and animal behavior is my superpower.
Being able to tap into the world of animals by listening to their behavior and body language is what sets me apart from other photographers.
Animals speak volumes if you only take a moment to listen. They wear their emotions boldly and don’t hide what they are thinking. In order for me to capture their unique personality and heartfelt bond with you, I structure my photoshoots to keep a positive balance between you and your animal’s individual needs.
We’ll add familiarity and touch for comfort, a bit of unfamiliarity to encourage curiosity and bravery, movement to settle a busy brain, sights or sounds to stimulate an array of thoughts and emotions, and positive reinforcement through praise, treats, or free time to keep the animals happily engaging.
Communicating and listening to both you AND your animal ensures everyone is respected, and can enjoy the photography experience. Only then can I begin to photograph the beauty of your animals that you never want to forget.
My background begins with animal behavior, but includes decades of riding horses and training dogs, in an array of sports and specialities. When I wasn’t on a horse or working dogs, I was photographing them, striving to capture their personality and connection with the world around them.
My photography and entrepreneur skills have been built by years of trial and error, self education, and networking with other talented photographers. This continual passion to elevate my photography has allowed me to travel the country, photographing incredible athletes and beloved pets, and offering 1:1 mentorships to fellow photographers, as my full time - DREAM - job!

WHEN I’M NOT WORKING…
When I’m not photographing or building the business, you can find me relaxing at home with my husband along Lake Michigan, trick training my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, or loving on my small flock of electrofied looking chickens. I live a fairly quiet life when I’m not working. Immersing myself in nature and surrounding myself with animals brings me a sense of peace, and constantly reminds me of the striking beauty found in everyday moments.
