When I heard that I was going to be photographing a Dutch Harness Horse / Draft cross, I couldn’t picture how the horse would look in my head. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the barn to see Matthias happily munching on grass while his golden orange chrome coat dried from his morning bath. With tall white socks reaching up toward a beautiful topline, and his ever expressionistic blue eye and brown eyes, I was entranced. I couldn’t wait to begin photographing him! And he did not disappoint!
