To say it was an honor to photograph the infamous Julius 468 Sport Elite AAA, is an understatement. He stood quietly in the cross ties, his mane draped to the ground, gentle eyes kindly saying hello as I walked down the aisle-way toward him. I had arrived at Wim Cazemier Equine Center in Indiana that morning, ready to photograph several stallions, including Julius 468 Sport Elite’s equine portraits, under saddle and natural movement at liberty. He was unafraid to show off his beauty posing artistically in the doorway, stretching into a powerful playfulness at liberty, and excelling at precision and loft under saddle. And when we let him stand, he was content to stay with us, peacefully exhaling. He was unlike any other stallion I have met, and I can not wait until our next photoshoot!
