I love hearing the stories behind every horse, how they came to this point of their lives, what they excel at, their quirks only their owners could appreciate, and the friendships they bring to all humans that get to enjoy their presence.
Indigo was a tough ride, and a challenge in the barn as well. Kourtney, with her vast experience with horses, recognized that he needed patience, consistency, and lots of TLC. Through her dedication, he has become an incredible horse, and you can not look at either of them, without seeing how much they love and trust each other. These are the kinds of bonds we dream of having with horses, and the ones that make us the equestrians we are today.
It was an honor to photograph Indigo against a black background and a white background, capturing fine art to decorate Kourtney’s home with. That way, she can enjoy Indigo’s handsome face at Treasure Coast Stables AND in her living room!
