Plato has aged as if age is only a number. At 22 years old, he holds strong to his playful antics and should a wrapper be crinkled anywhere within his ear shot, he is bound and determined to get a peppermint out of it! Plato has been a member of the Klein family (my husband’s cousins) for 8 years, taking the girls through 4-H and now, not only continuing to be shown, but also helps in teaching the younger 4-H kids. With oodles of ribbons and trophies won together, the he is his happiest being doted on, ridden bareback, and seeing the girls smile at his goofy antics.
We have been planning a photoshoot for sometime now, and after a long and well deserved pampering in preparation for his birthday, we decided it was the right time to photograph him. So many people wait to have their horse’s professionally photographed until their horse is on limited time, a face full of well earned gray hairs, and a charm has been quieted by age. Although their retired years are just as important, you remember your beloved horse is when they are in their prime. Your photographs should reflect that.
So if you horse has reached the age of 20, do say hello, and we can begin planning a photoshoot dedicated to their spirited personality, their delicacy and beauty, and the relationship you together have built over the years. Even if my schedule is booked, a senior horse session - being near and dear to my heart - will aways have quality time dedicated to it.

All topics are available for discussion including camera equipment, how to photograph animals, people and weddings, best lighting, poses and secrets behind capturing authentic moments, marketing, editing, and more!
