I had never been to Cortese Arabian Farms in Middleville, Mi., but upon arrival, I was blown away at the beautiful dished faced that greeted me with big curious eyes and gentle nickering as I walked past the stalls. I stopped to say hello to many of the horses and I couldn’t help but think, “I want to photograph you, and you, and you, and you, and …. ALL OF YOU!” LOL!

I met Aleigha and Emma, with their two horses, Jack and Rocky, to photograph them in the evening summer light. They were hoping to capture a few images for an upcoming show ad. With the girls all dressed up, the horses well groomed in their leather halters, and a helping hand from their trainer, we were able to create some gorgeous images.

We ended our session with talk of future photoshoots at Cortese Arabians.
