It is always a grab bag for how the session will play out when I travel to meet new clients. I had never met Megan or her mom before our session in Kalamazoo the other week, but I was pleasantly surprised by their warmth, kindness, and openness to allow me to create a wonderful collection of images for Megan’s senior photos.

We originally were aiming for the session to last an hour, but their property we were photographing on was a photographers playground, offering endless opportunities for backdrops, especially as the stormy skies cleared, giving way to a variety of light as the sun set. We were having so much fun, and Megan quickly relaxed into her pro model poses, that we photographed for over 2 hours, capturing many outfit changes, location changes, and even included her horse and dog!

I could have stayed all night to photograph her smile, leaving me excited for our future sessions!
