Paige met me bright and early to begin her senior photo session in down town Ada, with the vision to include in her collection an urban backdrop followed up with the natural backdrop at Paramount Performance Horses with her horse Titan. She was very open to allowing me to be creative with our backdrops, and didn’t judge me too much when I asked her to hide in a tree for me. LOL!
Her horse, Titan, was feeling fresh that morning, and the horses in the surrounding pastures were doing all they could to rile him up for us. We adjusted our methods to capture her photos, even changing locations to hide from the trouble makers in the pastures. All along, Miss. Paige kept a smile on, and with a bucket full of patience and calm energy, she helped her horse settle, providing me with me the ability to capture her images with precise timing as Titan danced around.
Horses don’t understand why we are taking photos, and I expect every horse to have their own needs during our sessions. Whether it’s a walk or lunge break to wake them up or provide mental enrichment, treat motivation, a security buddy, something to look at or weird noises to listen to, or even a break to be loved on by their someone special, we always ensure the horse is happy.
Paige was a rockstar during her senior photo session and I was thrilled to deliver her collection! Here are a few of my favorites!
