I will always have a soft spot when it comes to photographing corgi puppies! And little Finn was no exception!
Addison, Finn and I met at one of my favorite nature preserves, reveling in the fact that that patch of woods is always quiet, allowing us to relax into a hike winding through the tall trees and around the frozen ponds. Finn was happy to plod along behind us, taking in all the new smells, and finding confidence in his steady independence. We balanced this shoot between photographing Finn and Addison together, Finn in posed settings, and Finn in action. This ensured that we were able to keep Finn’s eagerness and happiness while participating in his first photoshoot. We of course exchanged all the good behavior for snacks, snuggles, and exciting playtime!
Despite the sun’s laziness to stay nestled in the clouds, I was pleased with the color palette I was able to capture, mixing in the blues, reds, greens, and array of winter browns. The resulting collection pops, catching your attention and melting your heart with puppy love.
