Rudy, a senior Dachshund, traveled clear across Michigan to be photographed along a woodland setting at Pioneer County Park in Muskegon Michigan. It was a chilly morning, but a perfect Spring day for dog photography, capturing a mix of fine art portraits and action shots of Rudy and his favorite hedgehog toy!
Being a bit chilly still, we did flip-flop between photographing Rudy with and without his jacket, balancing between still portraits and action shots to stay warm, and pausing as needed to warm up in his owner’s jacket. He happily trotted around the park, offered to sit pretty for treats, and than howled at us when we didn’t get him enough treats!
Through play and praise, keeping it fun and light, we captured an array of energetic and soft expressions from Rudy’s big personality. He was yet another dog I could have photographed all day long. ♥️
Enjoy a handful of my favorite images from Mr. Rudy’s photoshoot.
