Courtney was a huge help during all of the photoshoots at Elevate Dressage earlier this Summer, and I was so happy to spend quality time photographing her and her little speedy mare, Dixie!

The more we chatted throughout the session, the more I got to learn how each item she wore, was chosen intentionally to bring a lifetime of memories together. Her jewelry was hand crafted from tails of previous horses, her boots were from her wedding day, a few of the poses we recreated were from the night she said YES to her now husband's proposal, and Dixie, while loved by Courtney, was truly her husbands heart horse.

Every detail was thought through, and I can only hope I matched Courtney's expectations with the images we created that morning.

“I loved everything about my session with Jesse and her assistant!

I am very uncomfortable being photographed and always feel awkward. Jesse was patient with my spicy little mare and made me feel very comfortable with every aspect of our session. She made the entire experience fun and laid back while still getting the job done! Communication was outstanding from the very beginning and she was always quick to answer any question or address any concerns that I had. I had specific photos and ideas in mind and she made sure to bring those to life.
