I had the pleasure to photograph Kara’s high school senior portraits, with her two hunter jumper horses, Dia and Lincoln, at Trinity Farms in Ortonville, Michigan. Being an equestrian is a huge part of her life, and while we still photographed Kara by herself for year book requirements, majority of her photoshoot focused the love she has for her horses, and the equestrian lifestyle they have created together.

We mixed up the locations we photographed throughout the farm, to best match her outfits and to capture her memories with jumps, ring side, trail riding, along the tree lined driveway, and in the large pastures. This added variety to her collection of images, but also kept the horses engaged with frequent location changes.
