If you have been following my work or watch my Instagram stories, you know I own a corgi … and maybe just slightly corgi obsessed. Over the past several years, I’ve looked forward to seeing and photographing Bethany’s pack of corgis, Sir Maximus McFluffbottom, Lady Sadie McFluffbottom, Sir Charles McFluffbottom, and Duchess Ivy McFluffbottom.
Bethany isn’t your average corgi owner. She goes above and beyond with her dogs, meeting their individual needs and finding different sports they thrive on and compete in. We are both so well tuned into the dog’s body language during the photoshoots, that a slight cue from them will have us laughing together. No matter where we go, or who we photograph, we always have fun!
Our latest shoot was with Bethany’s newest pack member, Duchess Ivy McFluffbottom aka “Ivy.” They traveled from Midland to hike through one of my favorite parks, Clear Springs Nature Preserve, in Montague, Michigan. We have photographed her other three corgis at this location, and Bethany wanted to capture similar images with Ivy, that would match the fine art she already has on display from previous photoshoots.
Ivy was, as all Bethany’s corgis are, a joy to work with! She was hold a stay perfectly, recall on a dime, and was smiling every step of the hike! These were my favorite photos from our photoshoot. Be sure to scroll all the way down to read Bethany’s testimony!
