I absolutely love photographing for clients year after year! I have previously photographed Equine Portraits for Ana and her family when they first brought Valerio, a stunning Arabian horse, home to Curtis Performance Horses, in Jenison Michigan.
With Summer being peak season for Horse & Rider Sessions at the barn, they booked a photoshoot to capture the growing relationship built between Ana and Valerio. We opted to split the session between using the Naked Halter (that was removed in post production to make the horse appear as though it is naked) and Valerios western headstall, photographing in the front pasture to capture both vibrant colors in the shade and the golden sunset in the open field. It was the prefect balance of portraits and heart felt moments between Ana and Valerio.
