My winter travels to Florida did not line up with Char-O-Lot Ranch’s show schedule, but that didn’t stop them from privately flying me out to New Jersey to photograph during a layover in between shows at DREAM Park!
They were specifically wanting a variety of photographs to use for their national and world show ads. This included Equine Portraits and Horse & Rider images of them candidly and under saddle with their horses.
It was the first major shoot with Western Pleasure horses (I am primarily an English gal!). To prep for this style shoot and to practice capturing peak movement, I visited local barns West Michigan Equestrian Center AND Detersmination Equestrian Center. Big thanks to those riders who prepped their horses and looked amazing during spur of the moment sessions!
I asked a lot of questions, did a lot of research, and was able to fulfill Char-O-Lot Ranch’s needs. It was wonderful to hear their love of the images and plans for future photoshoots with additional Char-O-Lot Ranch clients. I am looking forward to elevating my photographs more and more for every photoshoot planned!
