Misty Mae, the one eyed, 12 year old Australian Cattle Dog, braved the bitter cold temperatures for a play date with me in the Muskegon State Park. And when I say cold, I mean COLD COLD! We had to divide this photoshoot up with breaks in the car to keep Misty’s toes warm, retaining a positive experience for Misty, while I photographed her portraits and action shots in the freshly fallen snow. Misty’s best friend, Moosie, came along for the ride, and was Hooowwwllling from the car in protest that she wasn’t a part of the photoshoot. So during one of our warm up breaks for Misty, we also photographed Ms. Moosie. She quickly regretted her decision to leave the warm car for knee deep snow, but was content on being a part of our adventures.
