I arrived at PAL Stables, in Hemlock Michigan, scheduled to photographed two FULL days of Horse & Rider and Equine Portrait Sessions, but when I arrived, a thick fog blanketed the entire town. It was so foggy, that we could barely see 25 feet in front of us. It would have made a dramatic photoshoot, but it wasn’t what myself or my clients had in mind when booking the photoshoot.

THANKFULLY, my morning session with Evie and Fabio were graciously flexible to push back to the early afternoon. This allowed the fog to roll out on it’s own time, and provide the style of photography I am known for.

We photographed Evie and Fabio right outside of the barn, in the shade of two huge oak trees. The arching of the branches matched the curves of Fabio’s haflinger neck and rump, while the fence in the background complimented the lines of his dressage bridle. It was a fairy tale setting as Evie snuggled up to Fabios drastically long mane, his white eyelashes highlighting the softness of his eyes when Evie smiled up at him.
