I visited Maple Ridge Iberians in Charlevoix, Michigan, to photograph several dogs, horses and their owners. While Kate’s session it started out as an Equine Portrait Session for her dressage horse Kane, it quickly got upgraded to a Horse & Rider Session that could include Kate! Before the session began, her daughter and mother, also both equine enthusiasts, joined in for part of the photoshoot as well! It was a wonderful way to capture their family and their generational love for horses, individually and together.
